Little Heroes
At Little Heroes, our fundamental principle is to provide an environment and experience for children to be happy. By providing a balance between education; encouragement and fun, we believe that we offer a safe environment for children to express themselves and enjoy their early years.
The Little Heroes name is not just about Super Heroes. It is about celebrating the every day heroes in all walks of life, from doctors and nurses; to community workers and all of those people who put other people ahead of themselves. Not forgetting the greatest heroes of them all: your children themselves!
From experiencing various different nurseries with different philosophies as well as running her own Childminding business, Emma - Little Heroes founder, has built up a large wealth of knowledge to form her own vision for taking care of your precious kids in a loving way. Her reputation in the local area is second to none and we are extremely excited to be able to provide the same level of care on a wider scale.

Principles
Active Learning
Starting with a fantastic outside area, we want to encourage all children to be active and healthy. We'll put on regular sessions (at no extra charge) to give the children every opportunity to experience different activities, as well as providing trips and explorations of the local area.
Homely setting
As previously mentioned, we ultimately want to provide an environment for children to be happy. This means offering a comfortable setting where the children will feel like it is another home for them.
Kindness to all
We will always be encouraging the children to be kind to each other and to ensure that they understand the values of sharing. We want to make sure that children from any background feel at home in our setting, and we will be encouraging the children to always be welcoming and kind to each other.
Education
We provide fantastic resources for the children to be able to learn in an enjoyable way. A wide variety of educational activities such as reading; arts / crafts; and sensory materials will ensure that your children get off to the best possible start in a creative way.
